Miguel Hidalgo Mayor to Request Relocation of Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua Embassies

The mayor of Miguel Hidalgo, Mauricio Tabe, announced that he will request the Secretariat of Foreign Relations (SRE) to relocate the embassies of Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua. In a video shared on his X account, he stated that he is making this declaration not as a politician, but as a citizen: "Today I am not speaking as a politician, but as a citizen who believes in freedom, human rights, and democracy and is concerned about what is happening in the world." The mayor noted that these embassies represent "governments that have oppressed their people, silenced voices, imprisoned the innocent, and abused power," and emphasized: "we cannot normalize that." "We cannot be indifferent to injustice, which is why we will request the Government of Mexico's Secretariat of Foreign Relations to relocate the embassies of Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua," he said. In Miguel Hidalgo, the dictatorships of Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua are not welcome. That is why we will request @SRE_mx to relocate their embassies until there are governments elected by the people. Here, freedom is defended.
